Antique STEIFF Dog NO ID
After doing some research on this Mohair Dog, we believe it to be made in Germany by Steiff. Measuring 9” tall by 6” wide by 7” long, this rare, long white Mohair Dog was constructed with a center seam down the back and large glass eyes, similar to other antique Steiff animals. The puppy’s head is articulated and turns from side to side, plus he still retains his original growler, which doesn’t growl anymore. There is a stitch repair to one ear and to the bottom as well as some patches of mohair loss. There are no other problems or restorations and this rare, antique, early 20th century Steiff Dog has been listed as a buy it now! Thank you for looking 💙🐶
