★ PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION ★ ★ DON'T HESITATE TO OFFER ★ ★ I WILL LI$TEN TO ANY, PLEA$E BE FAIR ★ I am offering for sale another one of my precious antique Victorian pipsqueak/growler toys. For sale this time is an absolutely adorable Antique Victorian Pipsqueak/Growler Puppy Dog Stuffed Animal Toy. This little guy has been loved a lot through his life. Even though I don't know if it is the truth or not, I like to believe that a little kid loved this puppy so much that they kissed it on the nose so many times that it fell off... Anyway back to the real truth of what I know and can see about the puppy dog... This lil guy is a beautifully well made either pipsqueak or growler toy that were popular in the Victorian times. I know there is either bellows, a squeaker, or a growler of some sort incased within this puppy dog. Although I have never had the pleasure of hearing the original noise he made. The original mechanism is still inside of him. When you press down on his adorable head his little mouth opens. He stands very well on his own. funny thing is that his rear left leg looks like it is lifted as if he was peeing. Not sure if that is how he was originally constructed, or if once again my imagination has gotten the best of me. He is 100% original with no replacement parts. Like I mentioned above he is missing his little nose (which could be replaced). He has shoe button metal eyes and original collar with tin bell. He is extremely solid for a stuffed animal and may have some type of metal armature structure built inside of him for stability. It looks like his tail may have been reattached throughout the years but I can guarantee you it is still original to the pup. His coat is made out of some type of felt or heavy material that has become somewhat nubbly with love and age. Some may call him "dingy or soiled" but I just called him "well loved". Just think about it... For the past possibly 120 years he has gone on many adventures more than likely in the dirt, possibly in the back of a wagon, and/or dragged throughout God knows whatever else while he was accompanying his human friend on any adventure may have came up that day. Back in those days kids were allowed to play outside, eat dirt, and explore. Eating dirt builds immunities 😉. Not like the bubble children that exist in this sick sad world nowadays. If you think about it, his owner probably dragged/carried him around by his tail and that's why it had to have been reattached during his lifetime. I wish these antique toys could talk and tell their tales. Well, this one sort of can. If you provide the dialogue you can make his mouth move to say whatever you want him to. His mechanism whenever you press his head down to open his mouth works extremely well. Maybe if somebody knows what they're doing they can end up fixing the squeaker or growler located inside of him. He does not have any holes or rips. His floppy little ears are beyond super cute and have a very vibrant odd shade of pinkish orange on the inside of them. I have seen the cat version of this toy sell for over $1000. I have never seen the dog version other than mine. I have several other pipsqueak / growler antique Victorian toys, automatons, and tons of pre-war tin toys that I will be listing throughout the weeks. The pups measurements are approximately... 9in. L × 4in. W × 8in. H... I would have replaced his nose myself, but I have never been able to find another exact one to compare it to (to know the period appropriate part to replace it with). This beautiful little critter would be perfect for any animal lover, Victorian or primitive toy collector, current or former veterinarian, and or anyone who just has a soft spot in their heart for super duper cute old puppies. I'm always willing to work with people, make good deals, and combine shipping. But please don't take advantage of me. Normally when someone has a "make an offer" button they wont go less than $5 or wont go under their listed price at all. That's not me. Please be fair with me and I'll be fair with you. Just check my feedback... Please look at the pictures as they are a major part of the description. Please also take the time to read my entire listing... ★IM VERY SORRY BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER THE TAXES/FEES THAT EBAY OR YOUR/MY STATE MAY IMPOSE UPON YOU ★ Regardless if being 100% truthful and honest will make me loose a sale, I don't care. I am always brutally honest and truthful with any flaws I find. The buyers happiness is what I care about. I have been burned many times buying tin toys/antiques online. People stretch the truth and or straight out lie just to make a sale. That's not me... I have always taken pride in my antiques and tin toys. What you see and read is exactly what you will get. I value my customers and your happiness with my items I have collected over the years. It is BY FAR of the utmost importance to me. I make sure to describe both good points and potential bad points of everything I offer. My seatbelt never caught and airbags never deployed, my face went completely into the steering wheel. If you would like to read my full story and see pictures, I have a go fund me page (it's under my name Helen Evangeliste or gf.me/u/tq9tab you will have to type it in but that is the direct link...) I am NOT one of those disgusting people that try to prey on people's emotions. I am not trying to drum up donations. I'm just trying to verify my story and why I have to sell stuff :( ★ DO NOT BE AFRAID TO OFFER ★ ★ Every item I sell puts me one step closer to my surgery. Nobody understands how great a gift that is till they're in this situation. A surgery just became available that may be able to help me cut my pain, nerve damage and migraines by up to 80%! Also please make sure you look at the pictures very closely as they are a major part of the description. If you have any questions or concerns please make sure that you would address me before you purchase. I try to put out the best product I possibly can. Everything I am selling is from my own personal collection. I charge a flat rate for shipping and any extra goes back into buying supplies which are not cheap. I trust myself... ★ PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO OFFER ★ ★ I WILL LI$TEN TO ANY, PLEA$E BE FAIR ★ ★ I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ★ I am very sorry but I have been burned by people who abuse the return system. No matter if you clearly state that you do not accept returns, Pricetronic will bully you by saying that (if you do not accept the return and give the buyer a full refund) the buyer is allowed to leave negative feedback which will end up making me pay more in fees. I research, describe, picture and love each item I am selling to a nauseating detail. I am open to any questions anytime day or night. I used to accept returns but people abuse it. Too many people don't read things the whole way. I am NO EXPERT in anything nor claim to be (especially jewelry). So if you have any questions about anything please do not hesitate to ask. I am just trying to sell my collection of many years and many different types of items to help pay for this surgery that just became available. If you would like to insure your item for more than $50 (most of my items are worth more than $50) ★ PLEASE CONTACT ME AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE & I can add extra insurance ★ Please take a look at my other items/listings. I will be listing a lot of military medals, military items, old tin toys, amazing antiques, and other awesome oddities. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. ★ I will ALWAYS combine shipping ★ ★
I recently moved from Tennessee back to Pennsylvania. Although I have changed my *sellers location* and *return address* back to Pennsylvania, Pricetronic continuously tries to say that I am located in Knoxville Tennessee. I am 100% located in Elizabeth Pennsylvania. My return address will be the Elizabeth Pennsylvania address. I had a REAL PROBLEM with somebody that could not read a return address that was listed on the box I sent. Please make sure that you read my ENTIRE LISTING. ★ ★ ★ IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE UNABLE TO READ MY ENTIRE LISTING AND LOOK AT THE DETAILED PICTURES I PROVIDE THAT ARE APART OF THE DESCRIPTION. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING BEFORE YOU BUY IT
