• You are purchasing a PREMIUM X-LARGE  Size Medium Hard Chew with Core for fun as well.  
  
• I call these Premium because they have Core for fun as well. 
• HOWEVER... The more core the easier they are - so feel VERY FREE to send along a note about your chewer and I will pick the antler that has the shell to inner ratio that I feel after 25 years is going to be best. 
•  And of course always follow up with me on future orders whether it should have been a little harder or a little lighter :) 
  
• You will receive a 9-11" 
• Whole Chew Antler that is in the 9 to 10 ounce! That is a good one. And I tend to send at least 9.5 to 10.5 ounce on these :) 
  
• I'm looking for the best choice and color will be brown to hard white and everything in-between. 
• I don't send the Rock Hard ones (see pic for example) for the dogs UNLESS YOU ADD A NOTE - I pick Medium-Hard with core - If you truly want the hardest  please add a note.
• Large End Circumferences:  4.5"   - Obviously, the antler tapers toward the "point" end. All points are cut and sanded.  If you want the point left on,  message me after purchase :)

Additional Information About Choosing the Right Chew for you Dog

• Choose a HARDER chew for a heavily chewing/teething dog
• Choose a MEDIUM Core for a fun chewing antler and for dogs who do not chew heavy, but steady.
• Choose a Softer Chew for TENTATIVE/YOUNG/or PICKIER DOG - Will help build confidence.
  
• As far as size and weight of Dog to the chew, I like to follow the below information...
  
• 10-20 pounds --Small antler at least 5 inches long
• 20-40 pounds -- Medium antler at least 5 inches long.
• 40-70 pounds -- Large antler at least 6 inches long.
• 70+    pounds -- Large or  Jumbo at least 6-7 inches long.
• 80+     pounds -- Ultra Jumbo at least 7 inches long.
